Kevin Wall
Kevin Wall is Managing Partner of Craton Equity Partners and a prolific entrepreneur, angel investor and environmentalist. Kevin serves on the Board of GreenWave Reality and manages Craton’s investment in Recyclebank.

An Emmy Award-winning producer, Kevin has founded and built a number of successful businesses in the sustainability and media sectors including Live Earth, Control Room, Ignite, BoxTop Interactive, Radiovision and Shelter Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, Kevin was Vice Chairman of iXL, a global internet consulting firm, and produced concerts for The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Who, among other artists. Kevin serves on the Advisory Board of Gordon Brown’s Global Council on Education and can be found advising a variety of environmental organizations including the Climate Reality Project.
 
Bob MacDonald
Bob MacDonald is a Managing Partner and Founder at Craton. Bob serves on the Board of Petra Solar, Rypos and EnLink Geoenergy.

Prior to founding Craton, Bob was President of William E. Simon & Sons Private Equity, a mid-market private equity fund focused on companies in the banking, food products, education and manufacturing sectors. Earlier in his career, Bob founded and built Catalyst Energy, one of the largest independent power producers in the United States, which he took public and eventually sold at a value of more than $1 billion and with revenues of more than $400 million. Bob was also a founder and co-chairman of Eastrock Partners providing financial consulting and investment services. He was a Vice President in the Municipal Bond Department at Salomon Brothers where he headed the tax exempt state housing agency group. Bob earned a BS in Finance from Fairfield University.
 
Tom Soto
Tom Soto is a Managing Partner and Founder at Craton and a widely recognized Hispanic business leader. Tom serves on the Board of Liquid Environmental Solutions and manages Craton’s investment in GridPoint.

Prior to founding Craton, Tom founded and built PS Enterprises, a leading environmental, regulatory and compliance firm that provided services to a wide range of Fortune 100 companies. Tom has been highly involved with various business and policy initiatives throughout his career including the Border Environmental Cooperation Commission under President Bill Clinton and, most recently, as Co-Leader of the White House Council on Environmental Quality Transition Team under President Barack Obama. Tom has a BA in Political Science from UCLA and spends his limited spare time advising nonprofit and environmental organizations such as the Mono Lake Committee, New America Alliance, Center for American Progress and as the Chair of the California Science Center Foundation Board of Trustees. He is also one of the most recognized voices on the environment and the economy having helped to organize the "No on 23" campaign in California in 2010.
 
Luke Hayes
Luke Hayes is a Principal at Craton. He joined the firm in 2008 and is responsible for making and overseeing new investments in addition to managing deal flow and due diligence activities. Luke serves on the Board of Propel Fuels and manages Craton’s investment in Principle Energy.

Prior to joining Craton, Luke managed joint development projects at Dow Chemical with strategic customers such as USG, Eli Lilly, Monsanto, BP and Ecolab. Earlier in his career, Luke licensed engineering technologies at Brigham Young University and lived in Brazil for two years doing humanitarian work. Luke earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In his spare time, he enjoys advising startups and spending time with his wife and three boys.
 
David Asarnow
David Asarnow is a Principal at Craton. He joined the firm in 2010 and is responsible for making and overseeing new investments. David serves on the Boards of Sungevity, Gazelle and ARXX and manages Craton’s investments in Bridgelux, Recyclebank and GreenWave Reality.

Prior to joining Craton, David co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Control Room and Live Earth. He also co-founded and serves as a director for Sustainable Holdings, a firm that has partnered on two public equity sustainability funds with Dimensional Fund Advisors. Earlier in his career, David worked in finance and technology at Alta Vista and IGN Entertainment. Mr. Asarnow has a BA from Tulane University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. A Los Angeles native, David can often be found surfing at the crack of dawn.
 
Danny Furey
Danny Furey is a Principal at Craton. He joined the firm in 2011 and is responsible for various aspects of fund operations including investor relations.

Prior to joining Craton, Danny was responsible for client relationship management and business development at Strategic Value Partners (SVP), a multi-billion dollar distressed debt manager in Greenwich, Connecticut. Earlier in his career, Danny was a Managing Director at Sandell Castlerigg and a member of Merrill Lynch’s institutional relationship management team within their Investment Bank. Danny has also worked for the UBS Private Bank in Zurich, Switzerland as well as UBS / Brinson Partners in Chicago. Danny earned a BA in International Economics from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also proudly served with distinction as a United States Marine from 1987 to 1991.
 
Betty Morin
Betty Morin is an Associate at Craton. She joined the firm in 2010 and is responsible for performing due diligence and other supporting activities for Craton’s investments.

Prior to joining Craton, Betty spent several years managing operations and communications across a wide range of early stage companies in addition to serving as a producer for Control Room’s Live Earth event on 07.07.07. Earlier in her career, Betty produced independent films and managed various aspects of film productions for several studios, directors and actors. Betty earned a BA in Marketing at San Diego State University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In her limited spare time, Betty participates in Ironman triathlon and runs marathons.
 
Bob Baxter
Bob Baxter is Chief Financial Officer at Craton. He joined the firm in 2011 and oversees Craton’s financial operations and investor reporting. Bob serves on the Board of EnLink Geoenergy.

Prior to joining Craton, Bob served as CFO for several consumer product and media companies including Roll Global, Live Earth, Control Room, Vibe magazine, Uptown Magazine, Soul Train Holdings, DMX Music, Hemmeter Enterprises and others. Earlier in his career, Bob was the Lead Engagement Manager for Arthur Andersen’s entertainment practice in Los Angeles. He earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma and is a registered CPA. Bob can be found on the weekends spending time with his family at their cabin in the San Bernardino Mountains.
