Luke Hayes joined Craton in June 2008 as a Summer Associate. Luke is currently an MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson.

Prior to enrolling at UCLA Anderson, Luke spent five years working at Dow Chemical in sales and marketing. In this capacity, Luke managed joint development projects with strategic customers such as USG, Eli Lilly, Abbott Labs, BP and Ecolab in addition to developing business in the biofuels and diesel markets. Luke was successful at growing sales revenue with these customers by nearly 50% from 2003 to 2007. He also developed the distribution strategy for Dow’s animal biosecurity product platform in the US. Outside of his work at Dow, Luke led a feasibility study for the production of sugar cane based ethanol in Louisiana. Before joining Dow, Luke worked as a Licensing Analyst in the Office of Technology Transfer at Brigham Young University where he was responsible for developing and negotiating licensing agreements for proprietary technologies.

Luke has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University and is fluent in Portuguese.
